I always took this dream to refer to pre-epyphany Rand, but the references to the pyre and songs sound an awful lot like Rand's supposed funeral. Perhaps this dream hints that Rand, in Moridin's body, still has a role to play? Egwene's reference to "a man" lends credence to the fact that the body in the dream may not be Rand's own.
