Perhaps Moridin is the subject of the prophecy and "follows after" as Rand's new physical form?

- How does Narishma "follow after"?
I think a lot of people took this one to mean more than it really did. He was the one to take Callandor from the Stone and that was that. Prophecy fulfilled.
I have to disagree here. "Who draws it out will follow after." If follow after means that he pulls the blade out, then we just have a tautological prophecy, which, while assuredly accurate, would be pretty stupid.
And who says some prophecies aren't stupid? Narishma was a non-entity after he was bonded by that sadistic bitch, Merise. He can't lead anyone - you can't lead when you're a slave - unless the Aes Sedai put him in charge of teaching any men who can channel at the White Tower, so he can drive into their heads that they are property while he shows them how to use a power they'll never be allowed to touch without permission. He was never going to step into Rand's shoes and become the Dragon Reborn.
If Narishma fulfilling the prophecy by yanking the sword out does not apply, then the prophecy must refer to something, and someone, else. In which case, perhaps Moridin grabbing it fulfilled the prophecy in some way. He grabbed it, got taken over by Rand, and died in Rand's place. *shrugs* I don't know. It's left open to interpretation, I suppose, but the way I see it, it's fulfilled and done.
I don't see the drawing as a fulfillment of prophecy. It's merely the first part, signifying that Narishma will have some purpose. What that purpose is, I couldn't say. Maybe it just implied loyalty.
Unfulfilled prophecies...

I like to think he's going to work out that Rand is still around and follow him to wherever he goes
