I got the impression that he was going to stay in the woman's lives, I could be wrong but it seemed he was still bonded to them in some way.
I actually got the opposite impression, as he was wondering if one of them would come after him, and then laughing it off like he didn't really give a damn and riding away.I can see why that view can be formed, but it seemed more he was laughing off his foolishness at being arrogant enough to think one of them would come after him.
He seemed happy to acknowledge that he loved them, and they him, and they would be together again when everyone (or more likely, given things to date, when the women) were ready.
So, is anyone else thinking that ending was a bit of a dick move....
