If anything could be said to be Egwene's priority, it was to get the Aes Sedai together and get them ready for the Last Battle. She had a problem with them fighting each other because she saw each loss as one less person to do harm to the Shadow in the Last Battle. But in the Last Battle, the Aes Sedai aren't resources to be coddled. They're resources who must be used, and used to the death, to save as many civilian lives as possible. Whatever else I think of the early four front war strategy, her asking Bryne to let the Aes Sedai do the heavy lifting to save the normal soldiers for another day was in character, and dealt with well enough.



Well, over in Dragonmount, Illtempest of all people was able to pick up how Logain's behavior post his attempted turning mirrored Egwene's post her being collared, and said she could kind of understand where Egwene was coming from (with other caveats, of course). If that can happen, anything can!
