You might be Mark, it's hard to tell. What you heard about Perrin killing Cyndane isn't fully accurate.

It's hard to tell how you'll react. I can tell you this, make of it what you wish:

To me, she has the best Forsaken story arc in AMOL, and the most satisfying final scene of them all. It's a matter of tastes. Lanfear, Moridin and Graendal were always my dearest trio, and of the three it's Lanfear who shone the most in AMOL for me, though all the Forsaken are good this time around. She's a serious contender to outshining Demandred. For me, she did. For big fans of Demandred and impressive OP stuff, they won't see it this way.

Brandon nailed her to near perfection. He achieved that with few characters, but with Lanfear, man he's good. Each of her scenes was a deep pleasure to read.

It depends which Cyndane/Lanfear you like most, though. Cyndane the pet/warrior, the mysterious, seductive, temperamental and perverse Lanfear of TGH or TDR, the more vulnerable, in a way, more megalomaniac Lanfear of the beginning of TSR, the more playful, vicious and calculating and in the end wholly insane and out of control Lanfear of TSR and TFOH.

She's always been a polymorph, physically and mentally, and she's bit of all of those in AMOL, but some aspects are more dominant and one or two is absent.

But Last Chance got herself a fitting last plan, and it's extremely interesting.. for fans of the character anyway.
