spoken by Egwene in regards to Perrin after his death in the Last Battle.


I don't like it, because (IMO) Egwene is not Rand's friend, so having her name him as such after he's dead and gone is just nasty, but I have no doubts that this is exactly the case, due to:

1. We have what Harriett said RJ wrote ("like the wind he touched everything, and like the wind, he was gone", or however it was worded).

2. The person speaking speaks to the "the air" (reinforcing the whole wind motif).

3. The "til I dream again" part implies that she will see him in TAR. Since Egwene pretty much owns TAR, and is the most important character in the series (from the author's POV), there is no one else it could be.
