Which of course mean the Finns had to have some way to neutralize them.

There's no medallion like the one they gave Mat in any of their descriptions.

Which ter'angreal cache? :P

This description sure sounds like a ter'angreal to me...

Towers of Midnight
CHAPTER 54
The Light Of The World

The room beyond was as he remembered it. No columns here, though the room was distinctly star-shaped. Eight tips and only the one doorway. Those glowing yellow strips ran up the sharp ends of the room, and eight empty pedestals stood, black and ominous, one at each point.

It was exactly the same. Except for the woman floating at its center.

She was clothed only in a fine white mist that shifted and shone around her, the details of her figure obfuscated but not hidden. Her eyes were closed, and her dark hair—curly but no longer in perfect ringlets—fluttered as if in a wind blowing up from beneath. Her hands rested atop her stomach, and there was a strange bracelet of something that looked like aged ivory on her left wrist.

Moiraine.

Just saying :P

Not the Tower, entering Sindhol that way isn't covered by the treaties and extremely high risk. Mat's luck is what made him reach the Chamber of Bonds safely.

Moridin must have used the Tear Doorway. And yes he made a bargain. It's fairly obvious from the way the Finns brought him around to show him their female prisoners so he could choose. Moraine said he looked at her and told the Eelfinn guide she wasn't the one he wanted.

Looking at the way the Eelfinn went completely nut devouring Mat's eye, I think it's fairly obvious how Moridin paid.

- "Hello, what will it be for you today good sir?"
- "I want to see all humans you hold captive and buy the one of my choice whom I will kill."
- "You're a bit weird, but well, we've got weirder. And for your second boon"
- "You still make dreamspikes? I'll want one, functional, and with the proper key to it"
- "Problem with the tax collector or an invasive mother in law? Poor you. What will be the third boon?"
- "Hmmm.. you'll make me a second dreamspike with the proper key to it."
- "Wow, this is gonna cost you an arm and a leg."
- "Oh, you'll have that and twice over. I'll give you the body of the woman after I kill her".
- "Oh, yummy. You Chosen are always fun".

Actually that's not true at all ... throughout the entire time they are in Sidhol Mat is approached by 'Finns with a variety of Bargain offers. Moridin could have easily have gone in through the Tower and just known how to approach the 'Finns ... someone in the AoL had to have done it this way to create the treaties in the first place and by extension the doorways. Given what we know of what happened with Lanfear it's very possible that Moridin avoided the doorways completely so as not to be held by the treaties himself. When you enter through the Doorways you are in many ways just as forced as the 'Finns, the Tower is far more risky, but also less restrictive if you know how to handle the situation. Moridin clearly made a Bargain, but that doesn't mean he used the Doorway.
Domani Drag Queen in the White Tower ... Aran'gar watch out!
