I guess it's a matter of opinion. You think it's clear the novices are not a random sample, but rather skewed by some unspecified mechanism which we may never know. I think Jordan was wrong about the 62.5%. And when I say that, I mean that he didn't write the books so that his universe would be consistent with the 62.5% rule.
