I still find it hilarious that Egwene is one of exceedingly few people who are ecstatic at the notion of Aes Sedai.
I know, right? It's like, we can get on board with that attitude because we read the adventures of Mildred Hubble and Harry Potter and Richard Cypher and we're like "Duh, who would NOT want to go off to Wizard School in the big city!" But in WoT, they're a despised group, with commonplace aphorisms about how untrustworthy they are, Egwene has no preconceptions or agenda that would make the idea of their power attractive, and no popular culture to make her think like we do. There is no healthy reason for her to get so giddy about it. The girl ain't right.
