As I am most frequently an "escapist entertainment" reader, the dollar per hour ratio of the series (even at hardcover prices) certainly beats many other things I could do (and have!) for a hobby.


I just don't think I spent $300 on the series, though :P

Then again, I have spent hundreds in the past just to read/review shortlisted entries for various prizes, so yes, the money value is quite cheap in comparison to movies and DVDs.
