Maybe I am misremembering it, but that scene seemed remarkable to me for the number of people that didn't die, ie a completely off the hook Lanfear (that just skinned Kadere alive and made a balloon of his skin) gently knocks Rand's allies unconscious instead of killing them. Did she kill a bunch of maidens or dock workers first? I forget.
A little learning is a dangerous thing.
