Just stating my opinion Dark Knight Send a noteboard - 20/09/2012 10:46:20 PM
We are getting exactly what the publisher offers - the prologue to the book. Are they somehow locking it out and preventing us from reading it again or causing it to erase itself from our accounts after a short time? What are we supposed to be getting but are not? What are they implying we will receive that we have not?

I'm not talking about the business practice behind it. I'm simply saying I have enough patience to wait for the book to come out. I will pay full price, not $3 extra. That's all I'm saying. They can take advantage of impatient customers. Good for them.

I refuse to pay $2.99 for part of a book that will still cost you full price - 20/09/2012 09:34:28 PM 1364 Views
Yeah. $2.99 Isn't really that much though, I won't buy it because the wait after it would kill me. *NM* - 20/09/2012 09:49:20 PM 428 Views
Yeah it's not much but it's the principle. They basically ripped you off *NM* - 20/09/2012 10:13:02 PM 396 Views
How so? Ripped off implies they are failing to follow through on some implicit offer - 20/09/2012 10:23:36 PM 950 Views
