There would be way too much left out.
to make an animated series out of WOT much like the comca from the Dabel Brothers ... Would make it so much easier to capture the details ... Figure they could dedicate 6-8 episodes to each book and do it justice within 4-5 full seasons (26 episodes per season) which is a bit of a long run for an animated series like this ... but not unheard of ... Avatar was 3 seasons, Justice League went for 4.5 and Clone Wars is on at least 5 seasons at this point.
Yup, it's still the most reasonable option, but even then it would be a mammoth project.
The only ones that might consider a project on this scale (and it still would be huge for them) are the Japanese, but as much as I enjoy anime, I dread to see a bit what a Japanese creative team would make out of WOT. And Japan would have to be the primary market and the show would have to cater to their tastes (the series is published there, how populat it is I don't know), there's not really enough of a market elsewhere for animation for adults. There are smaller markets for late teenager/adults animation worldwide (in the US, only comedy is mainstream), but none except Japan is big enough on its own to take on a project like this.

Hollywood would just get it all wrong anyway. Are they going to do 12 movies? Otherwise,

There could be a good market in the US since the success of shows like Clone Wars and Justice League

In many cases, adjacent books could be merged with little significant loss.

A TV series is a lot more practical than a film series, since it is a soap opera in many ways.

At 1 season per book, how do you keep those Aes Sedai ageless for 14 years? *NM*

At this point, I HIGHLY doubt that a movie could be made about the books.
