It's not going to be that simple. Egwene had a dream of a long line of Aes Sedai being collared.Those could actually be the rebels, since the White Tower provides more protection from an attack. Egwene may be instrumental in having the WT Aes Sedai saving the rebels. Alternatively the large number of novices in the rebel camp (channelers who have not sworn on the Oath Rod) means that they have a better fighting chance - Aes Sedai can't really fight being collared, since they can't use the power to prevent that (A'dam does not threaten their life, only freedom).


Didn't Elaida have a foretelling or something that said the tower would be restored to glory with her at the helm?


Elaida had a fortelling that the Tower would be restored to glory under a Amyrlin and she naturally assumed it was herself the foretelling refered to.
