Not to say the BA has ... But I'm not speaking as much of the loss of the individual channelers (that has it's place too though) as I am of the loss of the organization. The BA had a function when it was part of the Tower and could influence the AS ... Now these women are simply a cluster of mid tier, poorly trained channelers, that offer little in value beyond being able to create mixed links.
I would agree with your assessment on FS death would be huge if they had proven to be in anyway effective.

It's important to realize that the Forsaken are individuals and not armies. Even Rand found it difficult to implement change as an all-powerful individual.
If one looks at individuals like Semirhage, Rahvin, Sammael, Asmodean, Graendal and Ishamael, they caused massive damage due to their interventions in various cultures. You can't really expect much more. The fact that they were killed by Rand is not a testament to their ineffective tactics but rather their bad luck that Rand hates them and no one can really defeat the Dragon Reborn.

It's funny because I don't think the Forsaken have proven particularly effective either

I disagree ... The DO seems to have a plan and Moridin showed us he is following a prophesy

Up until the very end of TGS, wasn't the plan to turn Rand/make him do the DO's job for him?
