Maybe this is how they made the foxhead medallion? I'm not sure if they did make the foxhead medallion, but considering it's a fox and Mat got it from the foxes, and it seems to be unusually powerful for its type of ter'angreal, I like to think that it was.

That's all just musing, btw. Far from theory.
