The Aiel are going to have to go through a major cultural overhaul to survive and prosper in the coming Age. Even without the Seanchan there would be the invention of gunpowder, an act guaranteed to lessen, if not end, society's veneration of the warrior lifestyle. All the Aiel's training will matter not when a ten year old can kill their best fighter with a crook of his finger.
I don't see an easy solution to the problems facing them. The best scenario would be Rand surviving Tarmon Gaidon and remaining a public leader. With his AOL knowledge he'd likely be able to perceive and address issues such as these, something the less educated 3rd Agers wouldn't know where to start with.

The End of the Aiel – A systemic predestination?
