You could not BE more full of it. Her view on use of the One Power as a weapon after being made damane was that if the Creator didn't want it used that way, he should not have made her.
That's a drastic reading of it...
The first thing she does is slit the throat of Nynaeve's carefully crafted escape plan and dance on the corpse when she tosses off a fireball in a town full of panicky damane and almost gets her friends and rescuers killed in the counter-battery fire.
Using this to say she is for using the OP as a weapon is like saying Rand is for stilling people because he stilled some Aes Sedai after he escaped from his box, or that he's for shredding human beings (including women) to pulp because he allowed it to happen during that same day.
Later we see her start blasting away at the Children of the Light, one of whom will later be instrumental in avenging the rape of her companion's mother and the first inclination toward peace from that group, despite no actual danger taking place, to the extent that she appalls a Darkfriend.
How is this the same as using the OP as a weapon. There was no intent to hurt anyone in her act, and only desperation for Mat's health. It was foolhardy to the extreme, but hardly an endorsement for using the Power as a weapon.
Then she sneers at Nynaeve's agreement to operate under the rules of the Three Oaths (but only once Siuan is no longer there to hear, of course) and more than once is prepared to defy that restriction for her own personal convenience.
She sneers because Nynaeve was suggesting that holding the Oaths mattered against Black Sisters. The wording of the Oaths, and common sense, both dictate otherwise.
It is only when RAND asks her to use the Power in a completely ethical and moral situation that she takes three days to make up her mind.
Because it was a unique situation. Sitting atop a tower, she would be in no danger, and would be killing people who had no warning of her coming attack. Which means she isn't killing in self-defense, or because she is under immense psychological pressure, the only reasons she has ever attempted to use the Power as a weapon before. Basically, he was asking her to violate the most sensible Aes Sedai oath, and kill in cold blood. Was it morally correct? Yes. Which is why she agreed to it in the end. But her hesitancy is because she has never had to kill in this manner before, and I for one think its a good sign that she took her time to think things through before agreeing to kill instead of jumping at the chance.
He probably needed Asmodean desperately too. Doesn't make the guy a hero, or anyone whose death is worth mourning.
His success wasn't tied to Asmodean as it is to Egwene and the others.
He hated Aes Sedai because they suck and lumped Egwene in with them because she more or less WAS one of them, for all intents and purposes; she even self-identified with them to the extent that she could not bring herself to induce him to offend sisters to drive them away!
And? Nynaeve is equally offended when Rand mistreats Aes Sedai. The issue isn't how much Egwene identifies with them. Instead, its about how much loyalty she shows to them. To Rand, understandably, the Aes Sedai represent nothing great, with those who have helped him being outliers. Which made Egwene's dedication to them hard for him to understand. He failed to understand that she, just like Moiraine and Cadsuane, is hardly endorsing their behavior. Rather, most of these "outlier" Aes Sedai are dedicated to the potential the Tower represents, and has fulfilled at times in the past. Her dedication is thus easy for people like Nynaeve, Elayne and the Wise Ones to understand, though none of them is enamored of the Aes Sedai.
It's good to be right. Especially when you see Rand list his good influences in ToM

That's the really appalling part - it is so ingrained in her, that you can induce such specific acts

Well, she DID try to deflate his ego, but then she punished those who returned the favor to her.
