You could not BE more full of it. Her view on use of the One Power as a weapon after being made damane was that if the Creator didn't want it used that way, he should not have made her. The first thing she does is slit the throat of Nynaeve's carefully crafted escape plan and dance on the corpse when she tosses off a fireball in a town full of panicky damane and almost gets her friends and rescuers killed in the counter-battery fire. Later we see her start blasting away at the Children of the Light, one of whom will later be instrumental in avenging the rape of her companion's mother and the first inclination toward peace from that group, despite no actual danger taking place, to the extent that she appalls a Darkfriend. Then she sneers at Nynaeve's agreement to operate under the rules of the Three Oaths (but only once Siuan is no longer there to hear, of course) and more than once is prepared to defy that restriction for her own personal convenience. It is only when RAND asks her to use the Power in a completely ethical and moral situation that she takes three days to make up her mind.
But regardless of these, Min's vision specifically said Rand needed Egwene and the others to win in order for him to win; so their fates are tied together
He probably needed Asmodean desperately too. Doesn't make the guy a hero, or anyone whose death is worth mourning.and for much of the series, he hated Aes Sedai due to his mental issues and Egwene was lumped in with them.
He hated Aes Sedai because they suck and lumped Egwene in with them because she more or less WAS one of them, for all intents and purposes; she even self-identified with them to the extent that she could not bring herself to induce him to offend sisters to drive them away!

It's good to be right. Especially when you see Rand list his good influences in ToM

That's the really appalling part - it is so ingrained in her, that you can induce such specific acts

Well, she DID try to deflate his ego, but then she punished those who returned the favor to her.
