Partly because I'm interested in reading them more attentively, and partly because I'm curious how my opinion of them will change from it. I liked them initially, but that could just be because such a whirlwind of activity goes on in each book that it's difficult to focus on criticism, particularly when you're rushing through the book.
Still, regardless of that, you really should give Sanderson a chance with his own works. Nearly all of them are good and worth reading, imo.
