I haven't seen that, maybe something I should just miss out on? 
I'm 99% sure the movies/tv series would be terrible. Just look at Legend of the Seeker or the Dresden Files. They always have to screw with stuff and make it something that it wasn't. Granted, SoT wasn't that good to begin with, but if they screwed with WoT as much as they screwed with SoT I'd... be very very angry.
With Dresden Files they turned a 5'0 blonde bad @ss female cop into a 5'8 dark brown haired female cop. For no apparent reason. And they had the main character carry a hockey stick. For no apparent reason. They always feel the need to totally change things. Moiraine would be a 5'10 blonde super model with a southern accent who has Rand's triplets.
