Actually Gaul is the least likely to benefit from that knowledge...

So, do you think they're out of the picture now?
I find it idiotic that Bain and Chiad are honoring the gai'shain thing with the Shaido. Did I miss something about that?

I've been expecting Gaul's clan chief to die since about book 7, there by simultaneously having a clan chief (his survival at Rhuidean largely assured since he already knows the 'sin' )
close to Perrin and the Wise One's dragging Bain and Chiad to make a bridal wreath so we finally get them together, as every clan chief needs a clan roof mistress, without them having to give up the spear by the usual means (yet they won't object too strongly).
But would Chiad make a good roofmistress? Would the Wise Ones support such a marriage? Given how closely they grill prospective sisters before letting them adopt one another (which, if anything can be written off and allowed to procede as the candidates desire, a trivial extension of friendship should be), I doubt they would be so sanguine about a marriage where only one party wants the threesome, especially if your chief scenario works out. You don't want a clan chief whose marriage is a messy divorce or domestic dispute waiting to happen. Marrying a woman just to make your real object of desire happy is a dubious proposition at best.

Nope. Gai'shain have to take it, no matter what. They can run and hide, presumably, but no fighting *NM*
