It has changed - immensely. There are a couple of posters there, who I will leave unnamed, that get away with EVERYTHING! Perhaps it is a coincidence that they are Egwene worshipers, but there are a few posters who get away with EVERYTHING. They call other posters (non-fans of Egwene) stupid, retarded, idiots, illiterate, and a multitude of other names (of course one of them says that about anyone who disagrees with her "theories", which somehow get presented as fact) usually without so much as a "be nice", but if those who get attacked fight back, they are smacked down.

There is now a rule there that states no "Egwene threadjacking" (which has, amusingly, been applied to threads ABOUT Egwene once people speak ill of her). Supposedly it also applies to those who "threadjack" with "excessive" worship of Egwene, yet somehow that never gets applied. The same goes for the Aes Sedai - speak ill of them and you will be reprimanded and/or the thread will be locked, while talking about how great they are (usually in relation to Egwene having taken over) and that's just fine. It isn't hard to do the math. Again, perhaps it is the posters, rather than the topic, but it seems a bit odd to me.

Discussing anything at that board is a freaking joke. Unless you're one of the chosen few (who just happen to be Egwene worshipers), you aren't allowed to actually DISCUSS anything. Worse, when you're attacked, you aren't allowed to fight back (which doesn't sit well with me at all). I can't abide a board like that (theoryland is almost as bad, really, because there is a set of rules that apply to everyone but one of the mods). I mean, we have, in the past, gotten into heated arguments here - and sometimes even resulted to personal insults - but the "rules" usually apply to everyone, not just one select group of people. Here, it was kinda like a virtual family - and, like any family, there are some members you just don't get along with.
