I'm not stating gender relations in WoT are normal or well-adjusted. Far from it. But nor do I think they're a symptom of RJ being sexist. Instead, I think its a partially successful attempt at describing an unequal society akin to the middle ages, but with the women as the dominating gender.

The stereotyping occurs on both sides - which makes it equal, in my book - and people are often mocked or put down as appropriate (e.g., Lan's "noble" rejection of Nynaeve, then acting like she's his woman; Perrin straightening up around Faile, then slouching, then she laughs at him).
Thank you for putting Belals Girl and her stereotypes about the stereotypes in the series in their place! =P
