Jordan just wrote a series that is ultimately mediocre and predictable. The first six books were engaging and fun to read, but after that things got dragged out. Yes, Jordan provided perhaps too much foreshadowing and yes, the fans out there are clever.
However, Sanderson isn't writing his own story and he has to try to adhere to certain things. Has he made mistakes? Sure. On the other hand, I think that on balance he's done the best he could with a story that was too big, too convoluted, too predictable and too boring.
EDIT: Just look at all the unexpected twists in Mistborn and the brilliant pacing. If Sanderson had free rein he could have done that. He doesn't.
I could not get into Mistborn, and I have given up trying to get through it, and the quotes of the moment on this site suggest his clunky and banal dialogue is not simply a symptom of trying to handle Jordan's lame-ass story, but are a chronic fault of his writing. There is some merit, IMO, to the idea that Sanderson needed more time to familiarize himself with the material before trying to crank out books as fast as possible. In ToM, he has Aviendha force-fed a realization that she came to on her own and articulated directly in tFoH. His version of a wise, mature character is barely grasping what her immature younger self charged the hero with six books ago.

I think it's a disservice to Sanderson to blame him for Jordan's own faults.
