I think it's a disservice to Sanderson to blame him for Jordan's own faults.

Jordan just wrote a series that is ultimately mediocre and predictable. The first six books were engaging and fun to read, but after that things got dragged out. Yes, Jordan provided perhaps too much foreshadowing and yes, the fans out there are clever.
However, Sanderson isn't writing his own story and he has to try to adhere to certain things. Has he made mistakes? Sure. On the other hand, I think that on balance he's done the best he could with a story that was too big, too convoluted, too predictable and too boring.
EDIT: Just look at all the unexpected twists in Mistborn and the brilliant pacing. If Sanderson had free rein he could have done that. He doesn't.
