For one, she is not Domani, and her skin is not copper. not to mention that all things are indicating that she's supposed to end up with Galad on the good guy's side. I suppose it's POSSIBLE--after all, anything RJ wants to be can be--but it's about as likely as it suddenly turning out to be that Elayne is actually bearing Perrin's children.

I also doubt that they'd remake each book into 1000 page pieces. One, that'd be incredibly cumbersome. Two, it may be "one long book" story-wise, but it isn't written that way. If you had GH cut off half way through due to some relatively arbitrary goal mark in order to make it as close to X-pages as possible for the new "Book 1", it'd be quite jarring. The books don't just end and pick back up again. There's closure and definite reopening with each book.
