Wow, I never realized how much King Arthur there was in WoT.

I mean, sure, I'd noticed a few of the big things, like the "Sword" in the "Stone" and Artur Hawkwing, but it wasn't until this semester, when I took my capstone course on Sir Thomas Mallory and King Arthur lit, that I realized just how much is in there.
Seriously. Gawyn, Galad, Morgase, Tar Valon, Sa'angreal, the list goes on. I'm sure I'm coming late to the party here, and some of you more well-read people have discussed this in depth long ago...but I was just astounded by the parallels.

Here's to keeping the spirit of Wotmania alive...cheers to RAFO

Then (I'm not sure how to be both accurate and gentle) you didn't pay attention, & do NOT rule WoT.

Right; I've got a bad habit of ascribing that Foretelling to Alivia rather than Nicola.

Rand's "death" might serve to slap some sense into the senseless, arrogant, power-mongers...

There's an Aravine around Faile. A woman, though... *NM*

There doesn't appear to be much more connection than that to Agravaine/Morgase.
