The "impossible" Storm is obviously created by the DO. So, does the DO actually want that the humans go north, so that the Trolloc army can kill them? Or are the people drawn north due to ta'veren/Wheel-effect?
The Seanchan will yet become more convinced that the Shadow is the enemy (Tylee already thought about an alliance), after the Trolloc attack and the news that Anath was a Forsaken. This will finally lead to the alliance, IMO even before the Seanchan attack the WT. If Semirhage tells Rand that Mesaana is in the WT and that many AS are working for the Shadow (as Mesaana states it at the meeting), I believe Rand will press for a liberation of the WT.
It seems Mesaana is indeed an AS, though I still don't really see why Alviarin thinks then that her true voice and face are familiar.
The idea that Moridin voluntarily created the link between him and Rand becomes even more far-fetched, after we saw yet again that Moridin suffers, when Rand suffers. This is obviously the reason why Moridin wasn't at the Cleansing or doesn't want Rand harmed. Moridin fears that this could backfire at him. Therefore Moridin also didn't send the Trolloc army in KoD. In the end, Rand will certainly use this link to kill Moridin.
I was surprised, though, that Semirhage lost all of the DO's favour and that she actually was too incompetent to capture Rand in KoD. Now the only Forsaken who have still a high standing are Moridin, Graendal and Demandred.
I believe Graendal will soon send assassins to kill people in Rand's party like Bashere, and also Ituralde to create chaos (he is the dying man in a bed from Egwene's Dream).
By the way, it's interesting that we have yet another Graendal PoV ajnd once again she doesn't think about killing Asmo (though she thinks about other Forsaken and her standing). That is addressed at those Graendaldunnits who believe that Slayer MUST of course have thought of Asmo in his single, short PoV , if he was the killer..
As often said in the past, I believe Demandred controlled Masema. This explains Sammael's comment about Demandred's "friends" in the south. Besides that, he likely controls the King of Murandy who gaters an army at the moment. Demandred's statement that he wants to kill Rand, supports the idea that Demandred didn't send Slayer as the patron in WH )IMO it was osan'gar) and that Aran'gar posed as Demandred to send the DF Asha'man to kill Rand. It's also clear that Demandred didn't send that Trolloc army in KoD. It was either done by Graendal or Semirhage.
