1. Rand. Was Moiraine the first woman to die because of him? I'm not sure, but her name heads that masochistic list in letters of fire. If she came back, Rand would probably never let her out of his sight again.


I've felt since the introduction of Cadsuane that her primary role (if/when she returns) in WoT was to teach (in part) Rand to 'laugh and cry' - and to avoid the fate of those within Aridhol (aka Shadar Logoth): namely, falling to the Shadow by way of becoming too "Hard" and too "untrustworthy".
