Re: Your opinion isn't as valid as anyone else's if that's your opinion.

That absurd rant almost puts you on par with "Lo'oris" for stupidity.
You first say that everything is subjective, then you say that a cross in urine is objectively not art. That position is exactly how people defend modern art - everything is subjective. Pick a position and stick with it.
You are fully within your rights to say that everyone has their own tastes as to what they like and don't like. I don't think anyone here at any point was trying to say that people don't have a right to like Robert Jordan or anyone else for that matter.
However, your reductionist argument is useless. By that standard, someone who writes a book where every sentence looks like "The ddog jumt and itwer happi with sanwichus becuz she think God wil b 2 happi and SAILBOAT!" is "well written". If there is no way of using consensus to agree on criteria by which something can be judged for value than nothing has any meaning at all. Why learn anything at all?
I find it amazing how violently stupid so many of you are here at the WoT board. It's like I wandered into a trailer park or something.

If 10 million people like your book "The ddog jumt and itwer happi with sanwichus becuz she think God wil b 2 happi and SAILBOAT!" well...
The concept of "everything is relative" is far from stupid; your inane example however may well qualify. “Everything is relative” is a concept championed by many of your beloved "good" writers in their "classics".
If you are going to declare "..how violently stupid so many of you are here at the WoT board..." please post your MENSA invitation or IQ score; I will happily post mine. Until then I am quite sure you are capable of guessing which bodily orifice you can insert your snobbery into.
You were the one that placed the introduction of Lolita a an example of "good" prose. You were the one who has refused to explain why it was good. You are the one who refuses to admit that your definition of "good" is completely subjective and in no way more definitive than that of anyone else. You are teh one who retreats behind insults when you are questioned. You are the one who has questioned (insulted would be more accurate) the intelligence of everyone else on this board who dares to disagree with you.
I asked in a quick poll recently who people though could be Rand reborn in our age, I think we now know who Joseph McCarthy was reborn as.
Can someone explain to me how Jordan is not a particularly good writer?
