You might try right clicking the "play" button on your player. I use iTunes and Windows Media Player. iTunes or Windows Media Player can find and play the audible file. In either of those programs you can play audiobooks at faster than normal speed and the quality remains clear. The speakers talk faster than normal, but they are easy to understand and it cuts the audiobook down to about 48 minutes that way.
