The whole point of "the Wheel weaves as the wheel wills" is that the characters have NO choice and/or freedom.


While you certainly may be forgiven for thinking that Rand al'Emo's endless repetition of this claim is true, it's frequently shown not to be the case.


When is this shown to be the case?
