Sanderson has just posted about this and said the "hard core fan freaks" would know who the extra person is and why they were in that artwork. I figured this would be the best place to ask.
Which artwork? The front cover show the usual seven.
The inner cover show 9 people. I've always assumed the last two in the background were meant to be no one in particular, just Baerlon extras.
What's the deal with the "extra person" in the artwork for Eye of the World?
