I conceive it as being more likely that Rand's complete assimilation of LTT has multiplied his ability with the Power, instead of his strength. Rand now has four centuries of use and research from the pinnacle of the Age of Legends: surely there are many weaves that are more Power-efficient than what Rand was using before, as well as that long to increase his dexterity of weaves in general.

Regarding Egwene's statment that the entire Tower would not have been able to hold him, I took that to mean that the Pattern would not allow them to do so - rather than being unable to overpower him through sheer strength.

They too had four centuries of use in the Age of Legends behind them.

Clearly, there is more than that going on with Rand.

Tavernness? and besides that when have we seen a Forsaken attack anyone who didn't have channelers for defense like Rand did? Never. Whenever Forsaken demonstrate their powers they are always fighting other channelers, weaker though they may be.

Not to mention whatever Rand did in the EotW. This was clearly a return to that concept of the Pattern aided anihilation of the Dark.

A further hypothesis is that Rand has further insight into how to detect and destroy the Shadow than a normal Light channeler. Again there has never been an instance of Ishmael or Demandred attacking shadowspawn (cause they would never have to) so it is plausible that with their shadow insight they could just as easily destroy so many shadowspawn but they have no such incentive.

Rand's new strength level - Approximately the power of two men, 10 men or 100 men? - 20/12/2010 06:58:18 PM 2488 Views
I've yet to be convinced that Rand's raw strength has increased. - 20/12/2010 07:14:43 PM 1088 Views

Hampered and fought the entire way by Rand, so, no, that won't be necessary. *NM* - 21/12/2010 05:00:06 PM 350 Views

Hey Shannow, what does your theory say about Rand's One Power level? - 20/12/2010 08:03:12 PM 705 Views
I say the strength level - a little bit more than before, just a little. - 21/12/2010 12:50:08 AM 882 Views
His raw strength is the same - 21/12/2010 07:15:09 AM 838 Views
