Min's viewing of Alivia is almost unique in terms of how certain she is. There is only one other viewing that comes close - that Rand will lose without Moiraine.
I wonder if Moiraine's return will enable her to take Alivia's place as Rand's second female channeler and prevent this vision from occurring.
That would be anticlimactic, but I still have trouble fully believing that Min's viewings can be completely certain.

That's really weird, because we know even from RJ outside the series in Q&A that Min's viewings are, or were before the weakening of the Pattern in the later books, as definitive and absolute as foretellings. It's her very recent viewings that are no longer absolutely certain, Jordan made a point to mention that her previous Viewings were as absolute and certain as ever.
I don't really understand how you can say the viewing of Alivia is unique, or compare it to that of Moiraine in this. There's nothing special or unique there, Min is a certain about as she is with Viewings she knows the meaning of. Min repeats over and over that when she knows the meaning, there's no escaping the viewing. In truth, that's probably just because she can't have verified that her other viewings have come true the same way, because she doesn't understand what's supposed to happen! No viewing of Min has ever failed her. Only twice did she get an "if" Viewing (Perrin's - about having to be there for Rand, and Siuan's of her and Bryne). Those were the weirder ones, to her. All the others were absolute, and a few of them have come true without her knowing, or having understand them ( the death of Sheriam is an example).
The only viewing of Min that "has failed' has, of course, not failed at all. Moiraine wasn't dead. Min's trust in her viewings has been shaken a bit by this, but Moiraine's return should remedy to that situation.
Prediction based on a close reading of Alivia's future

I think the idea she might sever Rand isn't bad...

No seriously, there's 13 or so mp3s from the Budapest reading, & it's late in the story

I like the body to seal the Bore idea. But I'd take it further and say it needs to be his soul.
