Severe errors on the part of the author regarding timelining, together with some almost criminally sloppy proof reading detract from a book that does move the plot along.
It will do what it says on the cover, and bring the dedicated reader closer to a resolution in what has become a truly epic saga. However the flaws mentioned above grate and the sloppy editing and obvious set piece scenes give a decidedly fan fiction feel to the book.
If I were to dwell on the flaws, this book could go as low as 3/10 but just for moving the story along and providing the beginnings of a resolution to 20 years of a tale, it creeps up to a 5/10 for me.

Yes I really didn't like the jumping around in time. Sorry but if I have to think to figure out where things fit in time in a book with this many characters and this much plot that is a problem. Not all of us are like larry and can keep this many characters in our head. This is a saturday morning action show not classic literature.

Yes. I personally would've liked all that to be more detailed.

8/10. Fairly solid plotwise with some great moments but structurally flawed. *NM*

Moves plot along, however severely flawed.

It was ok. Not brilliant but certainly better than a lot of the middle ones.

Solid but not great continuation of the series, both exciting and flawed
