I don't see why Egwene would oppose his plan guttering flame Send a noteboard - 15/12/2010 06:17:47 PM
We've seen this even after he became BuddhaRand - he acknowledges that some of his former "opponents" on the side of the Light, such as Siuan, Cadsuane, Egwene, did what they had to do but he still has a blind spot. It seems to me that the Pattern doesn't necessarily want to place him in a position where he dictates his terms to all the world leaders. I think that this meeting will not go the way he pictured it, and it seems that he has been set up for disaster. You had mentioned that the Shadow was aware of his timeline, but I also think that Moridin planned for it. We haven't seen a POV from him, yet, but I do get the impression that he keeps thinking this transcendent moment makes him more than mortal and he has been surprised a few times that he gets angry or can be goaded just like before.

for world peace. It's what the Aes Sedai have been trying to achieve and failing since the Breaking of the World. She along with the rest of the Aes Sedai would jump at this opportunity. And the visions Aviendah had also seem to indicate that his world peace proposal was accepted by everyone until the Aiel, lose cannons that they were, sabotaged it.
