Also, why did you mention WH with CoT? I thought the former was much better than the latter- they don't belong in the same category!
Now granted the Cleansing was one of the key points of the series, but it was a handful of chapters leading up to and dealing with it directly. The rest of WH was no quicker then COT. The two books could easily have been one.
