but there is no evidence that the Aiel are any more phenotypically diverse than numerous accounts from credible characters (Rand, Egwene, Mat, Aviendha, etc.) make them out to be. And given that red hair appears to be just as recessive in Randland as it is in our world (e.g., Tinkers show no notable uniformly red hair because of interbreeding), it stands to reason that there are very few dark-haired and dark-eyed people in the gene pool.
