Ok, I admit my evidence for this is sketchy at best, but I feel strongly that ToM may have revealed GC indirectly.
towards the end of "After the Taint" (4 pages from the end in my Orbit paperback)Perrin is talking to Jur Grady who had expressed the desire to visit wife and family.
"I Just want to talk to her you know? And I need to see little Gadren again, I won't recognize the lad" Perrin replies "I am sure he is a handsome child, Grady". "Grady laughed. It felt odd, but good to hear that from the man. Handsome? Gadren? No my Lord he might be big for his age, but he is about as pretty as a stump. Still I love him something fierce."
My feeling is that Gadren is GC reborn. This exchange between Grady and Perrin seems inserted to indirectly lead the reader to that conclusion. It seems to have no other purpose and Perrin even goes out of his way to say the child must be handsome which Grady sees as odd. Also Gadren is large for his age and I would expect GC to be large based on Birgitte's taste in men.
Birgitte has said in an earlier book that she knows GC has been reborn and the timing would seem about right.

I thought it was just good dialogue which added some depth to Grady, but you may be right.

Grady's son was four years old in LOC3, which rules him out. *NM*
