(as I've said in other places) I will be pissed if she gets redemption after what she and Rand did to my favorite character for 8 books . Maybe Rand will try to save Lanfear and Moiraine will kill her before he gets the chance.
I'd prefer if Lanfear shows up again and Rand redeems his mistake by killing her this time.
For now I'm going with the theory that Moridin let Rand see into his own dream.

Could be, but the series would seem...wrong...if there wasn't a redemption amongst one of the Forsaken. The whole no one can be so long in the Shadow...
It would be fitting, though because Lanfear helped start the mess, if she was there to help fix it.
The past is just that, the past. You can only truly live by looking to the future!

if she is mindtrapped, is she able to effectively change sides?

I think she may be rescued or Moridin is going to make a big mistake

Maybe Nynaeve could heal a mind that has been broken by a mindtrap?

I think Rand's mysterious control of the TP could allow him to usurp the mind trap *NM*

My take on that scene is that Cyndane slipped through Rand's Ward and is setting him up

I've already proposed this theory before. With the addition of Rand switching bodies with Moridin ..
