So how exactly do you plan to get TGS?

I pre-ordered mine on Amazon and paid a huge amount for priority posting.

So what are you going to do? Get it posted? Walk to the local bookshop? Get the audio tape?


Since my brother pre-ordered the special edition DVDs of the LotR movies from Amazon and they arrived before the release date, I have done the same thing with the last three WoT books, on the off-chance they might arrive a day early or so. If I purchase a copy before the book comes (with KoD it was a matter of a couple of hours, but that was enough time to get past the battle at Caemlyn, so bite me, Amazon) I simply print up a refund form and mail it back. Or if it looks like I'll get screwed on shipping charges, I take the pristine Amazon copy, transfer the Waldenbooks stickers to that one and hie back to the bookstore for a refund or store credit. After I have finished the book, of course. It's not even stealing, because I AM returning an unused book. And the ride to the book store is a good time to start my second re-read (it's a whole day later - of COURSE I've read it twice! )
