Is this a viable empire model in a world where the male half of the source is not tainted?
I don't think so.
If you notice the same vision says that the Ash'aman are the last still fighting (but eventually losing).
What would probably happen even if they managed to win, is for the ability to channel to eventually fade off from the gene pool (since damane are not supposed to bear children). Actually, it's not explained why it hasn't already.
Moreover, since damane can't link (and possibly can't use andreal? I don't remember that), they can't win in a channeling war unless the other faction is totally unorganized (well... actually it is pretty unorganized...).
Does this show up how this future is not possible and will be avoided?
From the comments I've read so far, it's common opinion that it is a possible future that will be almost certainly be avoided, and that part of it has already been proved wrong by other visions/prophecies (that I can't recall now).

The Seanchan are probably using leashed male channellers as damane too

The Ashaman's batting average against other channeler groups has been mediocre.

You forget that the Seanchan also know how to fight channelers with conventional forces.

I never said the Damane were better than Ashaman on 1 to 1 basis.
