In any case, I can now predict without a shadow of a doubt that Demandred's plan WILL be revealed in the next book!
I had a few thoughts on his plan. Here are a few points from TGS/TOM and the conclusion I drew from them.
1. Demandred states to Moridin and Grendeal that his army is ready to march in the prologue of TGS.
2. In Perrin's storyline during the battle with the trollocs it is shown that it does not require a lot of power to transport trollocs using the portal stones.
3. Grendeal after her defeat when she flees to her cave on the deserted island thinks that no one knows she is there but she can't run or hide from the Great Lord. Before Dark ones Hand actually shows up she thinks that one chance might be to flee to one of the mirror worlds which we know can be accessed from the portal stone.
4. The last chapter in TOM reveals the appearance of Aiel that have red veils and uncover their faces to kill. This is completely alien to the Aiel that we know.
IMO, Demandred's army is not in Shara or Murandy. Though if I were him I would have something in the works there as well. I think Demandred might have found a way to use a big clan of mirror world Aiel. If the population is there what it is in the Real world he can bring a few clans and really turn the balance of the LB with a ferocious evil Aiel mirror world warriors.
This would explain his non-existant army. Of course i know it has some holes but where else would those strange Aiel have come from if not an alternate universe. Demandred would also have the ability to pop them anywhere he wants using Traveling. A huge advantage especially when the Light would not expect it.

Demandred - could his name mean "Lord of the Evening" as parody to Lord of the Morning?
