Who came to Masema before the battle at Malden?
Page 45:
"The Dragon had appeared to him the night before the attack. Appeared in glory! A figure of light, glowing in the air in shimmering robes. Kill Perrin Aybara! the Dragon had commanded. Kill him! And so the Prophet had sent his very best tool, Aybara's own dear friend."
I doubt it was Demandred or Moridin. Neither seems to be operating in the area. Also, we know that Graendal had not been hunting Mat or Perrin until after Malden. Maybe Cyndane or Moggy in drag?
I'm thinking it more likely that one of the Aes Sedai in Perrin's own camp is a Darkfriend and has been leading Masema around.
I'm sure this was discussed at length some time ago. I guess I missed it and just came across the passage on re-read.
Thoughts, anyone?

I think that he was just crazy. That makes it simpler.

Do you have any idea how cool it would be if we actually READ any of that plot and counter-plot? *NM*
