And the ter'angreal (which the dreamspike is) were created solely for the purpose of making people unable to not only be unable to CHANNEL the OP, but to even be unable to sense the true source. Just like a stedding. Also, difference between someone being stilled, and gentled.

A channeler still can't touch/use the OP unless allowed to do so, if he/she was wearing an a'dam. No weave or technique can bypass that except by outside interference or using the True Power.

And sure, a guardian can be bypassed with a well (or True Power user), but that is due to the intervention of another ter'angreal, not a brand new method of embracing/seizing the True Source.

It's like a prison. You can design it to block every way of escape YOU can think of. Doesn't mean there are other ways.

But the Dreamspike isn't a prison. It's just a Travel deterrant. No one is stopping anyone from just walking a good distance out of the Dreamspike effects and Travel. Even in Tel'aran'rhiod, the dome could be bypassed, it just weakens you while doing so.

Just as everyone thought Stilling and the Taint "could not be healed"...they just didn't know the right way.

Those are actual wounds, physical, meta, or what-have-you. All wounds can be Healed with the proper innovative weave. No one in the AOL bothered to think that you can "bridge" the gap the severance left with a specific application of a weave. Or that maybe it had to take the opposite gender/OP user had to do the Delving/Healing.

Cadsuane was sure no one could get through her box of traps. Someone did.

Poor example. The OP knots of the wards could be defeated easily if the OP itself was negated with the True Power.

Basically, there is no "absolute defense".

I'm not saying it's impossible to ever Travel out of a Dreamspiked location, merely highly unlikely. Perrin proved that you can defeat the Dreamspike by Dreaming himself into Tel'aran'rhiod and personally handle it.

Maybe Androl will find a way to defeat the Dreamspike from the earthly plane, with Pevara's (saidar) help. I just think that a new weave to Travel will be redundant and irrelevant because there is only one Dreamspike left now and I doubt anyone will know how to make one anytime soon.
BOHICA - Go ahead, ask me what it means.
