I also thought the Tower of Ghenji chapters were well written, the best that Sanderson has done with Mat's character.
I know you meant this as a compliment on Brandon's writing, but he has revealed a few days ago that Jordan had left the whole episode and its direct aftermath in finished form.... so you're saying that Sanderson's best Mat is when Jordan wrote him.
It was much better overall than Mat in tGS.
