In my opinion, this is her "last chance" to tempt Rand, and the Dark One has allowed her access to a miniscule amount of the True Power to bring this about. I think she may be the Forsaken to destroy Moridin or survive the Last Battle (i.e. the tower that almost crumbled but then rose taller than the others).
