RJ created a rich world with loads of potential that could potentially be something awesome. His magic system always seemed like it had the potential to be put to great use. I think there are plenty of people that would be able to write wonderful standalone novels within his world so long as they didn't involve any of the principle players. I wouldn't mind reading a story in wot that takes places a millenium later or a story that takes place in one of the other places RJ alluded to but never fully explained. I guess none of this really matters if RJ didn't want people to do this. Does anyone know how RJ felt about people writing within his worlds after a Memory of Light?
it's ok, but..

Unfortunately, I tend to agree. Bring on the glorified fanfic! *NM*

I think knowing the way RJ felt about fanfic in general would be telling. *NM*
